Admiral Superintendent Sanjeev Kale SUSPENDS two FOREMEN for pasting posters on closure of naval canteen and commenting about his daughter’s marriage

ADMIRAL Superintendent of naval dockyard, Mumbai Sanjeev Kale suspended two of his Foremen last week. Foremen dared to paste posters on one year closing anniversary of supervisor canteen and passed comments on Kale’s daughter’s marriage ceremony.

Remember, on November 9, 2016 on instruction of Sateev Kale department closed its supervisor canteen at Naval Dockyard, Mumbai. Remembering the anniversary of closure of canteen on November 8, 2017, The All India Naval Technical Supervisory Staff Association (AINTSSA) pasted posters (copy with ABI) in front of Muster Gate, Gun Gate, Cheetah Gate and Tiger Gate of Naval Dockyard, Mumbai. The poster was in Hindi language.

Few objectionable contents were: Yahaan supervisor staff ke khane ke lale pade hain, vahaan hamare saheb ko dopahar ka garma garam khana, apne ghar par naseeb hota hai. Bhale hi karmchari bhookha kaam karein lekin saheb ka pet hamesh bhara rahe…. Khair… ab to saheb, apne tabadale tatha putri ke vivah ayaojan me vyast hain.

Kale removed posters through Naval commandos. Kale alleged this act of the individual amounts to gross misconduct which is subversive of industrial discipline and harmony between the yard administration and its employees. On November 17, 2017 Kale suspended A L Mhatre and R G Pandey under sub rule 10 (1) (A) of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) rules, 1965. The supervisory staff members of Naval Dockyard, Mumbai, which is the largest Naval base in the Nation have been agitated by the suspension. The All India Naval Technical Supervisory Staff Association and it’s members allege that the action is taken because they have sought various queries under RTI and reported many irregularities by Admiral Superintendent Sanjeev Kale to various higher formations. They have filed many court cases in the recent past against Naval administration and Admiral Superintendent. They also alleged that ASD Sanjeev Kale is using naval resources for his daughters marriage.

The suspension of Formen created unrest in naval dockyard. ABI (Akela Bureau of Investigation) is stands with suspended Formen A L Mhatre and R G Pandey. There is an apprehension that this suspension order will lead to further deterioration of already stained ties between AINTSSA and ASD Sanjeev Kale.
