A 22 year old lady Shaishta Shabbir a resident of Zakaria Masjid, Pydhuni was admitted to Al Sadiq hospital at Mohm. Ali road and delivered a baby girl on the 7th of March 2014. This morning in the hospital the Aaya (Caretaker) took the baby for a bath. The water that she used for bathing her was so hot that it burnt the baby’s leg very badly. The baby is admitted in the same hospital, though the family members want it to be shifted to another hospital.
Irfan Khan a relative of the baby said “This is sheer carelessness on the part of the hospital and we are willing to shift the baby to another hospital for further treatment. We will also file a complaint against the hospital and the Aaya at the nearest police station.”
The hospital authorities could not be reached for any further conversations in this matter. The hospital belongs to former MLA of nationalist congress party.
