DHARAM Pal Yadav alias DP Yadav, an Indian gang leader from Western Uttar Pradesh who later joined politics was seen sharing stage with Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah in Haryana. However, BJP has denied extending invite to don DP Yadav.
According to media reports DP Yadav had accompanied on Monday Amit Shah to three places in Haryana to canvass for votes for BJP candidates ahead of October 15 assembly elections.
Almost a decade after he was thrown out by BJP over his controversial background, Yadav was seen on BJP stage.
DP Yadav is the father of Vikas Yadav who was convicted in the Nitish Katara and Jessica Lal murder cases.
Meanwhile, Congress on Wednesday targeted Amit Shah over the issue and said ‘birds of a feather flock together’.
