THE entire Country is now a days busy in converting their old-black money into white. They are adopting unique ideas for that. Among them a Mumbai based G L Constructions Company has adopted a different tactic to convert its black money into white. The company gave cash to its workers and asked them to deposit that cash into their personal accounts.

G L Constructions (P) Ltd., has been involved in road construction & infrastructure development for four & half decades and has executed work for various government, semi government and private / public limited companies. G L Constructions (P) Ltd., is registered in the state public works department (PWD), Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM), Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) & Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) in the highest class, making it one of the most reputed road construction & infrastructure companies in the city. With more than 400 workers company have office at Gokul Arcade, Subhash Nagar, Vile Parle, East.

Sources said the Company pays worker’s salary through cheque every month. But this month employees were paid through cash. Also Rs 15,000 was paid per employee extra through cheque. Company asked the employees to deposit cheque’s amount in their bank account and return the money by withdrawing soon.

One of the workers told ABI (Akela Bureau of Investigation) that his monthly salary is Rs 8,000 and always got his salary through cheque. But this month his boss paid Rs 6,000 cash and also Rs 15,000 by cheque. When he asked about extra money his boss ordered to deposit in his account and later withdraw the extra amount and refund the same to him. The worker followed boss’s instruction and did the same. This happened almost with all workers. The workers are also exchanging old notes with new on their employer’s behalf.

“Hamare boss ne kaha ki Rs 15,000 ka cheque apne account me dalo aur withdraw karke vapas hame de do,” said a worker on condition of anonymity.

So the company has very smartly this month, paid the employees in both cheque as well as cash. That way the employees who usually got their salaries in cash, were paid cash as usual, as well as they received extra money through cheques, which they withdrew and returned to their employers.

Shripad Gune, one of the managers of G L construction Company rubbished the allegation. “This is not true. I am shocked, who told you about this,” he said.
