THE Mumbai wing of Indian Navy is very close to joining the notorious Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). The Naval Contractor bluntly refused to re-appoint North Indian security guards but reappointed Maharashtrian guards only.
These days, Officials of the Navy Administration are busy in playing and indulging in dirty politics instead of taking care of security issues in NCH colony. ABI had earlier exposed by publishing two articles on security guards of persecution and partiality. On May 13, 2017 ABI (abinet.org) published article under headline, “Navy representative evokes PM Narendra Modi’s name while justifying lower wages to security guards posted at Navy colony.” On May 17, 2017 published second articles under headline, MERCILESS Indian Navy mistreats and fires 22 security guards without paying salary for 40 days.”
The administrative officer of Navy colony Commandar Muzawar removed 22 security guards as they demanded the promised pay of Rs 407 per day instead of Rs. 256 per day that they were being paid. Merciless Navy officers have not even paid their 40 days salary that is legitimately due to them.
The security guards were posted in NCH colony, Kanjur Marg (West). Unhappy with absolutely rude behavior of the Contractor and Navy officials, as well as poor and absymal working conditions, all the security guards on May 9, 2017 went on strike. Angry, Commandar Muzawar removed all 22 security guards. After ABI (Akela Bureau of Investigation) pointed out on security of NCH colony, Commandar Muzawar called security guards back on job but only Maharashtrian guards. He gave instructions that he does not want any North Indian security guards on job.
More importantly, two Maharashtrian security guards refused to follow the instructions of Commandar Muzawar. They did not joined duty stating first appoint North Indian security guards.
