A 23-year-old man from Pune has been arrested by the police for allegedly stabbing his 46-year-old male gay partner for refusing to have a second round of sex with him.

According to a police official, a case has been registered against the accused charging him with an attempt to murder under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code. The incident took place at the residence of the complainant where the accused had made a visit on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in the night and the couple had made love to each other. However, when the accused wanted to have sex again the next morning, the complainant refused which led to a fight.

It has been alleged that during the fight, the accused had stabbed the complainant with a sharp-edged object. The police have stated that the couple had met through an online gay dating website and were in a relationship for the last couple of years. The Complainant has stated that he has been in a physical relationship with the accused for quite some time, however, he has no clue as to why the accused attacked him this time.

The complainant has sustained injuries on head, face and right shoulder and is recovering in a hospital. The police have said that the reason behind the attack seems to be forced sex, however, they are investigating the actual motive behind the attacks.
