The complainants said they paid Rs 57,500 to the firm for the membership, and were told that they could check the profile on their internet website and side by side the firm officials would inform them telephonically from time to time the matches interested in profile for their son.

The Chandigarh Consumer Forum directed a matrimonial service provider to pay Rs 73,000 to a Mohali family, for being unable to provide a suitable match for a groom from Canada or USA.

Jagmohan Singh and his wife, Harvinder Kaur alleged that a matrimonial service provider, Wedding Wish, had assured them to find a suitable match from Canada or America for their son, as reported in Indian Express.
