Arvind Kejriwal, national conveynor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), created a yet another shocking controversy. While commenting on corruption created by Congress government in Chandigarh, he encouraged the voters (party workers) to accept cash and goodies for their vote.

Kejriwal, during a road show on Sunday in Ram Darbar Kshetra at Chandigarh along with AAP candidate Gul Panag, started his rally with his now standard “Bharat Mata ki Jay” and “Vande Mataram”. But later while commenting on corruption created by Congress government, he encouraged the voters to accept cash and goodies for their vote.

Kejriwal made a statement saying ‘Paise, Gaadi sab se le, magar apna vote sirf Jhaadu ko de’. Jhaadu or broom is a party symbol under which AAP is fighting elections. He also claimed that AAP will form the next government.

After forming Aam Aadmi Party, Kejriwal has time and again created numerous controversies by making mindless statements at his rallies blaming all and sundry including media and Mukesh Ambani for all that is wrong with the country. However asking voters to accept bribe in lieu of their votes is atrocious as well as a morally wrong statement by a head of party formed on Anti-Corruption Principles.

When contacted Deepak Vajpayee, media-incharge AAP said, “I don’t want to comment on this.”
