THREE times Limca Book of National Record winning Filmmaker Mr. Sanjeev Sharma who has always been in the limelight for his unique ideas and innovative storytelling technique has come yet again with another first of its kind project in India titled: “SHRADHANJALI”. The 12 minute short film had its premiere in Rajasthan Police Academy on 25th July. The film was launched by Director General of Police Mr. Manoj Bhatt, Addl. Director General of Police Mr. N. R. K. Reddy, Addl. Director General of Police Mr. Saurabh Srivastava, Addl. Director General of Police Mr. Rajeev Dasot and Commissioner of Police, Jaipur Mr. Sanjay Agarwal and Film Writer & Director Mr. Sanjeev Sharma in presence of many high ranking officers and dignitaries.

The film has been made as a tribute to the martyrs of Rajasthan Police under the guidance and support of Director General of Police, Rajasthan Mr. Manoj Bhatt to actualize the vision of our Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as discussed by him in “All India Conference of Directors General/Inspectors General of Police in Guwahati”. The Prime Minister had stressed about institutionalizing the memory of Martyrs of the Police force. Rajasthan became the 1st state in taking the initiative forward under the able leadership of DGP Mr. Manoj Bhatt. Filmmaker Mr. Sanjeev Sharma was roped in as the writer and director of the project. He had previously worked with legendary actor Mr. Amitabh Bachchan in “VEERGATHA”. “Shuddhi: A New Beginning” was another ground breaking project by him where all the actors were real prisoners and each one of them got one month remission from their sentence after the project.

Bollywood Star Mr. Randeep Hooda has lent his voice as the Storyteller for the film. After watching the film, DGP Mr. Manoj Bhatt was quoted saying “The film is outstanding. I felt goose bumps several times during the movie. It left me teary eyed towards the end. Sanjeev has gone beyond our imagination with this film.”

The film has garnered very positive response from the Police Force and their families. The film is to be screened for Honourable Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Smt. Vasundhara Raje soon. Planning to release the movie in major theatres across Rajasthan is also underway.
