ADMIRAL Vladimir Korolev, Commander-in-Chief of Russian Navy, is presently on a visit to Western Naval Command, Mumbai. Admiral Vladimir Korolev is leading a seven member delegation to India. The delegation arrived in Mumbai after interaction with top Indian Navy and Ministry of Defence officials in New Delhi.

Admiral Vladimir Korolev interacted with Vice Admiral Girish Luthra, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Western Naval Command and other Flag Officers at Mumbai today. He was given a presentation on the role and Areas of Responsibility of the Western Naval Command after which he proceeded to visit INS Kolkata, an indigenously built guided missile stealth Destroyer of the Indian Navy. The delegation also visited the Mazagon Dock Limited, Mumbai where the Russian Admiral evinced keen interest in the ongoing ship building activities of shipyard.
