AFTER the stupendous success of her previous Free of Cost mass marriage ceremonies, the extremely kind hearted social worker Sabira Sikwani, has, once again organized a mass marriage ceremony under the theme ‘Ijtemai Nikah’ (mass marriage). This time round, at least 20 couples are expected to enter into wedlock on November 23, 2016 in Islam Gymkhana, Mumbai.

According to the extremely soft spoken Sikwani, the participating couples hail from places ranging from Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nasik, Malegaon, Hingoli, Jalgaon, Aurangabad and Hyderabad. Sikwani would start shopping for the ceremony on November 3.

Sikwani has invited all the couples (residing anywhere in India) to participate in the much awaited free of cost ‘Ijtemai Nikah’. All that the couples need to do is to register their names on mobile number-9892995884.

Readers may know that, Sabira Sikwani, who happens to be the NCP’s General Secretary-Women’s Wing has been working as a social worker for more than 15 years in South Mumbai. She started the tradition of ‘free-of-cost’ mass marriage a few years ago on the demand of public, who realised that a number of couples were unable to marry simply because of the rising costs and expenditures.

“We salute the selfless Sabira Sikwani for her heartfelt social initiative,” said Rizwan Coatwala, the acting president of Cutchhi Memon Jamat in Mumbai.
