DELHI’s sacked water resources minister and AAP leader Kapil Mishra on Sunday made a shocking revelation claiming he saw Health Minister Satyendra Jain give Rs 2 crore to party Chief Arvind Kejriwal. “Parson maine Satyendra Jain ji ko Rs 2 crore Arvind Kejriwal ji ko dete huye dekha tha. Main poori raat so nahi paaya (Day before yesterday, I saw Satyendra Jain give Rs 2 crore to Arvind Kejriwal. I could not sleep for the entire night),” he said.
The CBI had earlier registered preliminary inquiry against Jain to investigate the charges of money laundering against him. AAP has called Mishra’s allegations “absurd” and “baseless”, pointing out that he has offered no evidence of his allegations. The dismissal came from Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia — who had announced Mishra’s removal from the cabinet yesterday — after an emergency meeting at Arvind Kejriwal’s house.
He was sacked from his portfolio on Saturday after he sided with AAP’s senior leader Kumar Vishwas, who is believed to have a rift with the party supremo Arvind Kejriwal. Deputy Chief Minister came in defence of AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and said, “His allegations are not even worth responding to, they are so absurd and without any facts. The decision to sack him also indicates the simmering tensions between senior party leaders and those holding the leadership, which could turn out to be an ugly major crisis for the poll-battered AAP.
Kapil Mishra took to Twitter before his press conference and he said, he has witnessed him (AAP leader whose name, probably, Mishra will reveal in his press conference) and it was difficult to say quite.
