ASSISTANT Sub Inspector (ASI) from Mumbai police, Sunil Bhagwantrao Toke, who has been in the limelight of late, has filed a written complaint to Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) against Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Nagesh Sambhaji Jadhav. Toke has demanded inquiry and strict action against Nagesh Jadhav for holding disproportionate assets and wealth.
Toke has filed the complaint on December 18, 2019, against Nagesh Jadhav. The copy of the complaint is available with Akela Bureau of Investigation (ABI).
Despite being a part of police department, Toke has dared to raise his voice against the departmental corruption in Mumbai Traffic Police. He has filed a Petition in Bombay High Court, submitting documentation and complete proof about systematic corruption in Mumbai Traffic Police. Toke is currently posted at Main Control Room of Mumbai Police and Nagesh Jadhav is posted at Gamdevi division.
Toke has levied some shocking and very specific allegations against Nagesh Jadhav, which merit looking into. According to Toke’s complaint:
1- On June 20, 2011, Nagesh Jadhav had purchased around 7,000 Sq Ft of private forest land in Gat No – 677, Boradpada, Badlapur (West), Thane district in the name of his wife, Meena Jadhav. He constructed 1+1 RCC structure on the land and runs educational institutes by name Siddharth School and College under Namita Welfare Education Society.
2- A private bus and a four wheeler are being run, transporting passengers illegally in the name of an educational institute.
3- Nagesh Jadhav has also purchased another plot measuring 70 guntha, at adjusted gat No- 677, Boradpada, Badlapur (West).
4- However the way that transaction is structured is shocking and incomprehensible. Meena Jadhav sold the said land to herself, and purchased the same herself for Rs. 45 Lakhs, on May 26, 2015. It means that the transaction was of a circular nature where Meena Jadhav acted as both a buyer as well as seller.
5- Nagesh Jadhav currently residing at Shri Sai Complex, Building No-5, Flat No-501, Sayani Road, Parel, Mumbai. The said flat is supposed to be worth Crores of rupees.
6- Nagesh Jadhav is running Jadhav Security Agency in his wife Meena Jadhav’s name at Posh area of Dosti Acres in Wadala, Central Mumbai. He has purchased two commercial galas in Dosti Acres costing Rs 1 crore each.
7- Nagesh Jadhav purchased several acres land at his native place in Bhokar, Nanded on his wife Meena Jadhav’s name.
‘Yes, I have complained against ACP Nagesh Jadhav in ACB. But I am not authorised person to talk to the media. Please contact ACB or spokesperson of Mumbai police for further details,’ said Sunil Toke.
