THE Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a Head Master, Railway Boys High School, North Lalaguda, Secunderabad and a Chief Office Superintendent of South Central Railway, Hyderabad for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. one Lakh in cash and two cheques of Rs. one Lakh each.

According to CBI spokesperson a case was registered on July 31, 2014 under sections  120-B of IPC and sec 8 of PC Act, 1988 against Head Master, Railways Boys High School, North Lalaguda, Secunderabad and  Chief Office Superintendent working in the office of  Sr. DPO, Hyderabad, Division, South Central Railway for  demanding gratification of Rs. 3,00,000/- from the Complainant (a Sr. Drawing Teacher, Railways Boys High School, North Lallaguda, Secunderabad)  for managing alleged vigilance enquiry against her relating to her caste certificate. CBI laid a trap and both the accused were apprehended while demanding and accepting the bribe of Rs.1,00,000 in cash and two cheques for Rs.1,00,000  each  at the residence of Complainant.

The arrested accused were produced on Friday before the designated Court and remanded to Judicial Custody up to August 14.
