THE Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case under sections 120-B, 420, 468 IPC and 13(2) r/w 13(1) (d) of PC Act. 1988 against a Deputy Commissioner, Navodaya Vidhalaya Samiti, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh).
According to CBI spokesperson, it was alleged that the deputy director a public Servant during the year 2013, had misused his official position in the matter of recruitment/appointment of some teachers by way of changing marks allotted to them by the Selection Committee, after applying fluid/replacing some of the original answer sheets.
Searches were conducted at the premises of the accused at Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh Incriminating documents recovered during the searches, are under scrutiny. Further investigation is continuing.
