THE Congress Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from 165-Andheri (west) constituency Ashok Jadhav has complained on Wednesday in Cyber Cell Police Station in Mumbai police alleging that a fraudster have hacked his e-mail account. The hacker is sending fake mails seeking USD 3,000 saying that amount was required to meet the medical expensive.

On Wednesday Jadhav registered complaint (copy available with ABI) Cyber Cell Police Station at Bandra-Kurla complex (BKC).

According to complaint a fraudster have hacked his e-mail account ([email protected]) on September 3. The accused sent fake mails to people on the former’s contact list seeking USD 3,000 saying that the amount was required to meet the medical expenses of his relative’s family “which met with an accident.”

The accused sent – Sorry to bother you, please i need your urgent help and was wondering, if I can get one from you. Regards Ashok Bhau Jadhav.

The police have started investigation.
