THE Bhandup police of suburban Mumbai have registered FIR against 10 doctors under several sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) for thrashing, kidnapping, abducting and threatening their colleague. The victim is accused for campaigning against Anyay Nivaran Sangharsh Samiti candidate in Central Council of Homeopathy election.
There is an election in process all over India of Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH) in New Delhi. Five members would be elected from Maharashtra. Nationalist Congress Party’s (NCP) Anyay Nivaran Sangharsh Samiti and independent’s Kriti Samiti are main panels. Several doctors from these panels are contesting elections. There is strong fight between Dr. Shivdas Anand Bhosale well known as “Shiva Dada” from NCP and Dr. Prakash Rane from Kriti Samiti. The ballate paper has to be handed over to returning officer at Poddar Ayurved College, Worli, till January 31, 2015.
On January 17, 2015, Dr. Ganesh Ramkishore Jaiswal (34) registered FIR (copy available with ABI) against Dr. C. V. Patil, Dr. Prem Singh, Dr. Shiva Bhosale alias Shiva Dada and 10 others.
According to the FIR, Dr. Ganesh Jaiswal is a resident of Kurla (west). He runs his own Relief Clinic at Dutta Mandir road, Bhandup (west) for the last seven years. On January 17 at around 2 pm Dr. C. V. Patil, Dr. Prem Singh, Dr. Shiva Bhosale and 8 to 10 other doctors appeared there. They asked Dr. Jaiswal if he had gone for campaigning in favour of Dr. Prakash Rane from Kriti Samiti panel on Sunday. Dr. Jaiswal replied negative clearing his side that on Sunday he had gone to Shirdi for performing pooja. Unsatisfied with this answer Shiva Dada and others thrashed Dr. Jaiswal. They forcibly took him to Dr. Sunil Mishra’s Siddhivinayak lab at Tank Road, Bhandup on motorbike. There they thrashed him badly demanding support for Dr. Mishra into the election.
“We have registered FIR against 10 doctors under sections 452 (House-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restraint), 363 (kidnapping) , 342 (wrongful confinement) , 143 (unlawful assembly), 147 (rioting) , 149 (Every member of unlawful assembly guilty of offence committed in prosecution of common), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of IPC,” said an officer from Bhandup police station. Sub-inspector Shiv Shankar Bhosale is investigating the matter.All the accused are yet to be arrested.

They should be we’ve rely punished. And their licence should be suspended I immediately.
This is coward dastardly attack & should be protested vehemently. It’s blot on medical profession. Now they are putting political pressure to withdraw the FIR.
