THE Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) led Central government has hired 40 men dressed as “Langurs” to drive away monkeys who spread panic in the parliament premises. Government realising the agile simians cannot be stopped from spreading panic in the parliament.
According to media reports, posing as black-faced Langurs, these trained men are armed with rubber bullet guns to drive away the monkeys who fear their distant relatives.
The central government can’t hire real Langurs for this task as the previous Congress government banned their use in 2012. It has pinned hopes on these trained men.
BJP leader and UD Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu has already made a statement in parliament, saying the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has hired 40 young people for the job.
