A 45 year old man arrested by the V P Marg Police Station on the complaint of his daughter for allegedly watching porn movie at home.
The incident occurred last week in the C P Tank area of South Mumbai. The accused father (name held with ABI to protect the daughter’s identification) was watching a porn film at home on the CD player. The 19-year-old daughter suddenly woke up at night and saw the father watching the blue film. She asked him to put it off but he refused to do so, he even misbehaved with her, abused her and threatened her of dire consequences said the police.
The daughter who is a second year college student called up the police control room and complained about the father’s indecent behavior. The police control room sent a lady officer from V P road police station to her house. The lady officer (who did not wished to name in media) seized the CD and arrested the accused.
An officer from V P Marg police station said, “We have arrested the accused under sections 354 (A) (III), 292 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code.”
The accused is an estate agent. His first wife died a few years ago and the daughter is the child of the first wife. Later he married another woman who left him. Police has recorded her statement where she claims that the accused is habitual of watching porn films at home.
