A local court on Friday issued a fresh summons to MLA Kshitij Thakur in traffic police officer Sachin Suryavanshi abusing case. The summons were got pasted by complainant Santosh Daundkar with the help of the local police, outside the house of Thakur.

The court has ordered to Thakur to appear in the 62nd Court Dadar on 17 June, 2012.

In gross abuse of his position as an MLA hurled filthy abuses on a traffic police Sub-Inspector, Sachin Suryavanshi. Since Worli Police Station did not file a case, a case was filed in the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate, Dadar, Mumbai under the provisions of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

Based on the evaluation of the credibility of information, the Court decided to issue process in the case. Thereafter, the accused MLA was summoned in the Court.

The initial summons could not be served for various reasons linked to red tape and also over the fact that it was reported by the police that the accused was abroad.

Thereafter, fresh summons were issued to Kshitij Thakur. These summons were got pasted by Complainant Santosh Daundkar, with the help of the local police, outside the house of MLA Kshtij at Thakur Nivas, Virar, Taluka Vasai, for his appearance in the 62nd Court Dadar on 17 June, 2012.
