Wadia had inflicted Cigarette burn on Priety Zinta’s face

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, who had shocked the country by filing a molestation case against her former industrialist boyfriend Ness Wadia, now has made fresh and serious allegations against him, of being cruel, abusive and inhuman. Zinta alleged that on some occasions Wadia inflicted burning cigarette on her face and locked her inside her room. Her mother had forced her to file police complaint but she refused saying that will break up with Wadia.

Priety Zinta, 39, who made her debut in Bollywood with ‘Dil Se’, had on June 30, 2014 met Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria, a day after returning from Los Angeles, in connection with the molestation case she had filed at Marine Drive police station against Ness Wadia, the co-owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). Priety alleged that she was abused and manhandled. This incident allegedly happened at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on May 30, 2014, during a match between Chennai Super Kings and KXIP.

Priety had submitted a four page fresh letter to Maria and mentioned that how she was abused and manhandled by Ness Wadia in the past.

Detailing the earlier incident in the letter Priety alleged that one day (around May 30) Ness entered in her room. He abused and manhandled her and said, “If you don’t stop making the scene, I will slap you.” Priety had sustained bruises on her right arm. She told entire episode and showed bruises to her mother at home. Her mother suggested getting a medical certificate and lodging a police complaint. But Priety did not file police complaint stating that she has decided to part ways from him.

Not enough, on an occasion Ness inflicted burn cigarette on her face. On another occasion (during IPL tournament) Ness entered in her room and tried to kiss Priety. Shouting at her he told that he loves her lot and he was sorry. Priety asked him to get out as he was drunk Ness got angry and abused her lot.

According to letter Priety has expressed a threat to her life from Ness. He will try to harm her directly or indirectly.

Zinta had been dating Wadia for 5 years before parting ways with him in 2009. On June 12, 2014, Zinta gave an application to Marine Drive police, which was later converted into an FIR.

The Marine Drive police have registered FIR (copy available with ABI) against Wadia under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of IPC.

According to the police the incident took place at the Garware Pavillion of Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on May 30. Wadia accosted her during a play off between Punjab XI and Chennai Super Kings. Zinta who co-owns Kings Eleven Punjab accused that Wadia grabbed her by her hand. He then assaulted her and used filthy language against her in front of others.
