A socials activist Nicholas Almeida on Friday filed a nuisance suit in Bandra court against Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan. King Khan is “illegally” constructing a ramp adjoining his bungalow Mannat.
According to media reports the court has admitted the case. It is likely to come up for hearing next month. Advocate Vivian D’Souza filed the complaint on behalf of Nicholas Almeida.
Almeida had complained against Shahrukh Khan in the past on this issue to the BMC officials about the illegal construction of a ramp road next to his (Shah Rukh’s) ‘Mannat’ bungalow without any approval of the competent authorities. The Municipal authorities had failed to maintain the cement road free of illegal construction.
Commissioner of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Sitaram Kunte and his three subordinates have also been made respondents in the case.
