BHARAT Babban Deshmukh, Jayakwadi office clerk department – 4, Talwada, Gevrai arrested by Anti – Corruption Bureau (ACB), Beed for accepting a bribe of Rs. 2,000.

The complainant Jayram Madke a resident of Bhogalgaon, Gevarai approached the ACB, Beed on May 3, 2014 complaining against Deshmukh who is the clerk in the Jayakwadi project department-4, for demanding a bribe of Rs. 2400 from the complainant and his neighbour Sangram Pawar to forward their documents for a permission to supply water for irrigation purpose in their fields to the senior officer. Complainant had submitted application for the permission of letting the Jayakwadi Damn water in their fields for irrigation purpose as per the procedure they had submitted all the necessary documents. Deshmukh the clerk demanded a bribe of 1,000 rupees and governing fees of Rs. 200 from each summing the amount to Rs. 2,400.

On Monday May 5, 2014 Deshmukh was arrested in a trap set by the ACB in his office at 12.35 pm while accepting a bribe of Rs. 2,400 from the complainant.

Appeals
