A security guard at an Air Force station in Santacruz early morning on Tuesday opened fire seven rounds killing two his colleagues and injuring three others. Injured guards have been admitted in KEM hospital.
According to police incident took place at the Santacruz Air Force station around 1 am on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. The guard R S Yadav opened seven rounds of fire and escaped from the spot but at Vanrai-Goregaon nakabandi he got arrested.
Those killed were identified as Som Dutta and H K Singh.
One of the other two injured guards is said to be in a serious condition and is admitted at KEM Hospital. The other guard got shot in the leg and is getting treated at KEM as well.
It remains to be seen as to why Yadav open fired ?
A case has been registered in Vakola police station.
