THE 1992-93 Mumbai serial blasts accused Feroze Abdul Rashid claimed he has no faith in special TADA judge. Rashid filed an application before the special TADA court and demanded that the trial should be transferred to another court.
On application of Rashid the special judge G A Sanap directed Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to file its reply. The CBI has investigated the blasts case.
Speaking to media Special Public Prosecutor (S-PP) Deepak Salvi confirmed the development but refused to divulge details.
On March 12, 1993 the thirteen powerful blasts that rocked Mumbai killing 257 persons while injuring 713.
In 2006, the TADA court has convicted 100 accused. The court is now conducting the trial against Riyaz Siddiqui, gangster Abu Salem, Abdul Qayyum, Feroz Abdul Rashid and Mustafa Dosa. All the accused were arrested later.
