THIS seems to be a case of casting couch. Versoa police on Friday has arrested bollywood actor Inder Kumar Girdharilala Saraf after an woman model claimed that he had been raping her under the pretext of getting her roles in films.
Police have arrested 40-year-old Inder Kumar under sections 376, 342, 325 and 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
According to woman Inder Kumar had convinced her that he would get her main lead roles and asked her to stay with him at his residence Shanti Niketan building, Seven bungalow, Andheri West. Inderkumar maintained several times physical relations with her.
Police have sent the model for a medical checkup and awaiting the reports.
Inderkumar who played the role of Akshay Kumar’s younger brother in movie ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’ have also acted in movie Masum, Wanted, Tumko Na Bhool Payenge and Gajgamini.
