The ‘Delphinus’ team of Indian Air Force is lead by Wing Commander Paramvir Singh with teammates, Sergeant G Narhari, Sergeant AK Patel, Sergeant S Sriharim, Corporal Aneesh Singh and Leading Aircraftsman V Tokas returned to Gateway of India completing the swim around Mumbai against the current today.

THE Indian Air Force under the directorate of Air Force Adventure maintains a six members channel swimming team ‘Delphinus’. The team completed an extremely tough channel swim around Mumbai in an anti clockwise direction against the current this evening. The swim terminated this evening at Gateway of India to a welcome from an Indian Air Force contingent. The team completed the swim covering a distance of 286 Kilometres in the time of 49 hours 44 minutes and 02 seconds in a relay swimming format.

The team ‘Delphinus’ is lead by Wing Commander Paramvir Singh with teammates, Sergeant G Narhari, Sergeant AK Patel, Sergeant S Sriharim, Corporal Aneesh Singh and Leading Aircraftsman V Tokas. The Team is the first team to undertake swimming around Mumbai covering 8 light houses and is the first to complete this circuit in clockwise direction, that is, against the current.

Its a wonderful news for me. My younger brother paramvir & his entire team made a world record in swimming. I proud of my brother.
