Every paisa of black money will be brought back: Modi

ADDRESSING nation on his popular radio show ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on All India Radio, on Sunday Prime Minister Narendra Modi broke his silence on black money issue and said every paisa of black money will be brought back.

Talking on the issue Modi further said, “Today nobody knows—not me, not you, not the government, not even the previous government—how much money is stashed abroad. I don’t want to get into complex numbers…but I assure you that my efforts will not fall short.”

“Could differ, but whatever I understand and based on the information I have…I assure you we are on the right path,” said Modi.

Modi assured the citizen he would bring it back. Trust on this Pradhan Sevak. The issue is an article of faith for him.

He also appealed to the people to repose faith in the government on the probe into the black money trail as he said that they were in the “right direction”.

Modi also said that his cleanliness drive is directly linked to the welfare and health of my poor brothers and sisters.
