A 23 year-old man allegedly stabbed to death an 18-year-old girl for rejecting his marriage proposal in suburban Vikhroli, Mumbai. Police has arrested to the accused.
According to police accused identified as Haroon Nadeem Sheikh. He is a resident of Govandi in Shivaji Nagar and was working in egg shop.
On Friday morning Sheikh attacked the girl Afsaana Mohammed Choudhary with a chopper at Ashok Nagar slums in Vikhroli. Afsaana was rushed to Rajawadi hospital in Ghatkopar after which profusely bleeding she was declared dead.
Sheikh had one side love with Afsaana. He wanted to marry her but Afsaana and her parents were not ready.
Sheikh, who was angry for being rejected, reached in area. Spotting the girl, he first thrashed her and then pulled up a chopper and stabbed her multiple times on her body. He then tried to escape but passersby caught him and handed over to the police.
