DIRECTOR Madhur Bhandarkar has been conferred Raj Kapoor Smriti Award from Maharashtra State Government for his excellent contribution to Indian Cinema.
After winning four National Awards for his films Chandani Bar, Page 3, Fashion and Traffic Signal along with numerous international acclaims, this added another feather in cap of the talented filmmaker who is busy making his next ‘Calendar Girls’ based on lives of Calendar Girls.
Actress Tanuja and Marathi actress Uma Bhende will also be conferred Life time Achievement Awards at a ceremony to be held in Mumbai to celebrate Raj Kapoor Smriti Awards.
