Controversial bollywood actor Poonam Pandey was arrested on Friday night at Mira Road, Thane for allegedly behaving indecently on the streets. She was booked under sections 110 and 117 of the Mumbai Police Act and was let off with a warning.
According to police source, the police received a complaint about two people allegedly indulging in an indecent act near a park. Police team reached and reportedly found Pandey outside a car. A small crowd had gathered around her.
23-year-old Pandey was caught wearing skimpy attire and indulging in inappropriate behaviour with a male person between 10:30-11 pm. It is not the first time when Pandey has been detained by cops for indecent acts in a public place.
However, Pandey twitted that she was just listening to songs in the car parked on the road.
The model-Pandey is known for posting her obscene pictures and videos on social networking website Twitter. She had also hit headlines during the 2011 Cricket World Cup, declaring that she would strip if the Indian team won the trophy.
She began her career as a model. She became one of the Top eight contestants of Gladrags – 2010, and appeared on the cover page of the fashion magazine. She was last seen in the Bollywood film Nasha which had faced protests over the explicit skin show in its posters.
