Member of Parliament (MP) and Cricket legend Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar has not attended a single Session of Rajya Sabha (RS) this year. Another high-profile MP and film star Rekha has also not attended a single session of Parliament his year.

According to media reports, Tendulkar has only 3 per cent attendance last year, having attended Parliament only three times.

However, Tendulkar promised to senior congress leader Rajeev Shukla he will attend RS more regularly.

Tendulkar was nominated to Rajya Sabha in 2012.
