A major educational scam has been uncovered involving prominent coaching institutions FIITJEE, ALLEN, and Akash, along with certain colleges in Mumbai. These institutions have reportedly devised integrated courses that bypass regular college attendance, allowing students to focus exclusively on preparing for the competitive IIT JEE Advance examination.

The institutions involved have formed partnerships with colleges such as MBM International in Andheri, Arya Gurukul in Airoli, and Vidyaniketan in Ghatkopar East. These courses are designed such that students are enrolled in these colleges but are not required to attend regular classes. Instead, their attendance is reported as complete to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, despite their physical absence from the college premises.

Families are drawn to these programs by promises of dedicated preparation for the IIT JEE Advance test. However, they end up paying substantial fees ranging from Rs 2.86 lakhs to Rs 6 lakhs, under the impression that they are investing in a legitimate education that prioritizes their academic needs.

This scheme not only undermines the educational standards expected within the community but also imposes significant financial burdens on students and their families. The misleading practices compromise the integrity of the educational pathway that many trust for a better future.

Authorities are being urged to investigate these allegations thoroughly and to hold the responsible parties accountable. The credibility of the educational institutions and the future of the students are at stake, necessitating swift and decisive action to address this serious issue.
