IN additional trouble for Assistant Police Inspector (API) Sunil Khatpe who is an accused of rape and extortion by a Mumbai-based upcoming model. The forensic report confirmed that Khatpe had bites on model’s breasts during the rape.
On Monday, Mumbai police filed a 1,168-page charge sheet against eight accused. The accused have been charged under sections 376 (Rape), 354(A) (Sexual Harassment), 384 (Extortion) 341 (Wrongful restraint), 342 (Wrongful confinement), 323 (Voluntarily causing hurt), 324 (Voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons) and 34 (Common intention) of the IPC.
The charge sheet has also forensic report that confirms Khatpe had bites on model’s breasts. The victim’s medical reports have revealed that the model’s hair was pulled and that she had bite marks on her breasts. The reports further confirm that she was subjected to oral sex.
The police have arrested eight accused -API Sunil Khatpe (34), API Suresh Suryavanshi (36) and constable Yogesh Konde (36), Javed Ibrahim Sheikh (35), Ibrahim Bismillah Khan (42), Tanveer Hashmi (34), Sanjay Ramaronge (34) and Asha Malviya (24) for raping 29-year-old model.
According to FIR, model had gone to a five-star hotel to audition for a film on April 3. When she came out, a police vehicle allegedly pulled up and the men inside threatened to arrest her if she didn’t get in. She was first taken to Sakinaka police station and later the Sangharsh Nagar police chowky and held there till the afternoon of April 3. The victim alleged that the accused extorted nearly Rs 4.5 lakh from her and a male friend. She also claimed that Khatpe forced her to perform oral sex on him twice at the chowky.
